Dispatches from ‘The New Paris’
In a country like France, where tradition reigns supreme, even a suggestion of change or newness has often been met with skepticism by locals. This is no longer the case, as I argue through my podcast. Think of it as a side dish to my book The New Paris, picking up where the book left off. In season 1, I was joined by co-host Alice Cavanagh, a fashion journalist and author of the latest Wallpaper Guide to Paris, and an assortment of other local experts, to take a closer look at the people, places and ideas that are changing the fabric of the storied French capital.
Season 2 and 3 go deeper, with me and guests experts continuing the discussion and tackling some of the more timely (and timeless, for better or for worse) issues — immigration, discrimination, urban development, women’s rights, and more — that impact the people of Paris.
